EXCELLENT EXTERIORS LIGHTING TERMS OF SERVICE

Why does Excellent Exteriors include these items on the disclaimer, you might wonder? It’s just that we want to be completely upfront and set clear expectations. Any professional contractor working on your home should include similar disclaimers/disclosures or at the very least make you aware of the following points. At Excellent Exteriors, we prioritize customer service and want to ensure that you have an excellent experience.
All of our services are guaranteed to be carried out with the maximum amount of professionalism and quality. This online bid is designed to make your life easier, but is unfortunately unable to take every factor into consideration. We must however note that the numbers quoted are all based on the information provided on the previous screen (which we will hold on record) and that if there is a deviation from those numbers, we must charge accordingly. Our online bidding system is incapable of bidding anything that is above and beyond regular lighting services. All bids produced by this system are subject to change, although we try not to whenever possible.

Christmas lights:

We lease our lights. That means we supply them, hang them, service them, take them down, and store them from year to year. Typically customers stay with us for years!
We offer a 90 day service window from the agreed “turn on date”. Which means we guarantee your lights, clips, and fixtures for 90 days from the date you turn them on.
At the time of booking a 50% non-refundable deposit is due. At the time of installation the other 50% is due.
Damages that occur to the lights from wild animals, pets, lawn care providers, and mishandling from home owners may result in additional cost upon repair.
Take down is weather dependent.
Glued, screwed, and other heavy duty mounts will be permanent fixtures for future installs. All mounting options will be discussed with the home owner prior to installation.

3 Year Light Contract:

Payment of this Invoice translates to a 3 year commitment in exchange for 10% off each year. Discount is not restricted to the same address should you move to another house in our service area. It is also not restricted to the same light layout but must stay above our Service minimum. If you opt for this and do not follow through in the future years, the 10% that was taken off will be owed to Excellent Exteriors LLC.

Cancellation Policy:

If the customer cancels all or part of any service scheduled, the customer is subject to a cancellation fee in addition to paying for all materials acquired for the job on behalf of the customer. Emails and Voicemails are not monitored during the weekend and if a message is left over the weekend it will be considered received on the next business day.

Cancellation Fee:

1 week or less before job scheduled date: $100
If job is over $1500 you are subject to an additional 25% charge

Postponement Policy:

If the customer postpones the service, they are subject to a rescheduling fee. Emails and Voicemails are not monitored during the weekend and if a message is left over the weekend it will be considered received on the next business day.

Rescheduling Fee:

1 week or less before job scheduled date: $35
If job is over $1500 you are subject to an additional 5% charge
If the job is postponed for 30 days or more the job is subject to being re-priced if needed to keep up with market prices and inflation.
